DHS Surround System
Sound (both Video and Stereo) fades in and out. Any ideas on repairing or should I just replace the system.

I switched out (removed) the old DHS surround sound system. We installed a 40” Samsung Smart TV up front and attached a matching sound bar. Rounded out the system with a powered sub woofer and we are extremely happy with the results. High quality video and audio are important to me as I worked in the CE industry for many years. If you look through the form there are some excellent examples of incorporating an updated home theater system in your coach. One that comes to mind is Paul Bruce’s installation… Good Luck…!

And one of the nicest things about a system like Max's is that you can easily connect your SmartPhone via Bluetooth for music as well as TV audio

This is not Max's but we did a similar set-up with our new TV cabinet, 43" TV, soundbar, and the sub-woofer is located behind the couch.

DHS/TV replacement
As you can see I did the retrofit myself with an articulating TV mount. Please see the attached photo of the 40” Samsung Smart TV and matching Sound Bar. The compact powered sub woofer (not pictured) is also a Samsung that I placed behind the passenger seat. Everything operates via Bluetooth, the sub woofer is easily accessible and adds great bass to the sound bar. We enjoy the tunes way more than our neighbors…. Cheers!

Max, did you have to modify the cabinet to get the tv in?

No cabinet modification. Check the opening but in my case the Samsung 40” fit nicely. Please keep in mind our coach is a mid door but that shouldn’t make a big difference in the available space for the TV. I noticed Paul modified the cabinets to accommodate a 43” flat panel TV and give additional head clearance above the seats up front… I have additional photos. Send me a PM if you want more info… Good luck!

I really like the sound system of the factory surround with the little subwoofer. It plays the stereo and direct TV. It rocks!! probably more then my neighbors appreciate
