Door Leak

I have had a persistent door leak for some time. I have read in the forum that the leak is must probably coming from the roof. I found that I have a partial delamination of the roof above the door but not over the edge of the roof which is solid. The joint from the front edge of the roof and cap is all taped and is not suspect. Also developing a small bugle under one counter of the second larger window next to the door. I fear that they are related. Any help would be welcome!

Rob, you probably need to take that tape off and inspect what is under it. I suspect the tape was placed there because there was a leak at one time. The tape most used is Eternabond, very good stuff if it is applied properly. It could just be old, or maybe is not sticking properly some where along the seem and water is getting into the old leak and running over to the door area. Your roof is fiberglass but once water gets under it, it will slowly rot the wood and if a leak developed once, a new one would use that same path.
