Driver for hire!

We're thinking of taking our Alpine to the Walnut Creek area and leaving it there, husband is not thrilled at driving it that far. Anyone know of a driver we could hire? This wouldn't be until sometime in June or July. Thanks.

Looks like east of San Diego to north of San Jose. 500 miles up the west coast of CA.

You'll probably drive it yourself once you see how much someone might charge : /

If want an idea of what a fully insured professional driver would cost try contacting Horizon Transport 574-862-2161

driver for hire

Thanks for the input and the verdict is that we will move it ourselves)) He may not want to drive it but he can and will! And we may just stay in southern CA and avoid the drive altogether.

Just a thought, once he gets on the highway get in the drivers seat for a bit. It is an Alpine, and they are known to be the best handling RV's ever built. My wife at first was reluctant to drive, but once she did it a couple of times she actually didn't mind driving a bit.

I'm curious why you bought a motor home when you don't like to drive it?

Peto,
Pamelashere has owned the Coach since 2005. Safe to assume health changes in the intervening 13 years.

I've thought about it myself. I'm in my mid 40s and sometimes wish I could just hop on a jet and fly to my RV 2K miles away. I couldn't leave it there for years at a time as I like having it for weekends. But Instead of taking 2 weeks off for a far away vacation I would be willing to pay someone to get it there for me. I love the journey but I could have 2wice as many vacations a year if I didn't have to spend the time on the Highway
