ECM

Can anyone tell me where the engine control module (ECM) is located on my 2003 Alpine 40MDTS with an ISL 400? Thanks in advance.

Try looking on the reverse side of the rear bulkhead for the battery compartment--in others words, between that bulkhead and the air filter container.....

I have not worked on the ISL Cummins , but ISB & ISC's the Cummins ECM is mounted to the side of the block, intake manifold side.

The EMC for all ISL 400 motors is located on the motor block, passenger side almost centered. You will see the wires plugging into it. Just forward of the EMC is the engine data plate.
