Do a search on forum--dont know if posi-lock mechanism for 08 doors changed from earlier models but stop-cam at top of door may be bent or cable adjustment down at the door lock inside door may need tightening.

These posts give good info about the Posi-Lock mechanism and the vendor (PTL Engineering):

When WRV went to the taller roofs on the '08 and '09 coaches, they changed to a different front door that uses that hinged bar with the small half-circle slot on one side of the hinge that catches a small post from the other side when the bar straightens out as the door opens. There is a small 3/4 circle of metal that looks to be spot welded inside the half circle that's cut into the bar. When the small post goes all the way into the slot, the 3/4 circle has to spread open to fit around it, then closes back up just enough to hold the post inside. My door opened hard from the wind and the small 3/4 circle was knocked out, so there was nothing to hold the small post inside the half circle and the door wouldn't stay open. I had to buy the whole hinged bar to make it work again. Got it from Guaranty in Junction City. Sorry, the work order doesn't give a part number. They called it a "Check Strap" in one spot and "Check Locking Posi Lock" in another place. They said I got the only one they had in stock. Cost $179.00 just for the part.

If it were me, I'd look into a "Gas-Spring" installation, which will hold the door open and assist when shutting.

Don't know if yours is the same problem we had but when our door would not stay in the locked open position, thanks to a super friends advice, we sprayed the top of the hinged piece with a dry silicone type lubricant several times to lube and clean it and it solved the problem completely. You have to get up above the door to see the cam that is there but it was a cheap and simple fix. I hope yours is as simple. Good luck.

Mel- I think yours is the 3/4 circle type described above. It has a spring clip that can indeed break off. PTL Engineering referenced in the linked threads was still the mfgr of the door assembly and should have parts.
