Entry door rehab part 2

Went out to get something out of the RV and discovered the door was warping! More specifically, the plywood behind the vinyl on the entry door was warping. Looks like the result of long term water intrusion (we’ve had issues since we bought it, but had finally stopped the leaks. However the damage was already done).

Anyway, has anyone ever had the actual door apart? The frame? Trying to find the best way to get the new plywood and vinyl in place, but it’s a tight fit. Ideally would like to unscrew one end and slide it in place, but afraid it won’t come apart without taking a painted trim piece with it.

Thanks

Great post and very nice repair.

Water leaks cause many problems in our RVs. I have had two that leaked and resulted in major repairs.

Thanks for posting.
