Few questions on Alpine coach

We owned an Alpenlite 5 th wheel and it was excellent in cold weather a good coach. We are now looking at an 01 40' Alpine .Is the roof molded, a process that is similar to front and rear caps. Some manufacturers the roofs are not one piece molded or not fiberglass .

Our fifth wheel had a rubber roof

Would someone comment on the roof construction on the Alpine

Our Alpenlite also was laminated construction is the Alpine the same ?

The cabinetry in the Alpenlite was hardwood but a vinyl woodgrain wrap are the cabinets in the Alpine solid wood no veneer or vinyl wrap.

We really both liked the Alpine when they were introduced possibly we may finally end up in one.

The roof is one flat sheet of fiberglass that is rolled over on a large radius and clamped to the sidewalls. The front and back of the roof is attached to single piece fiberglass caps.
Sidewalls are laminated.

The cabinet face frames, doors and all the trim are hardwood. Drawer boxes are plywood.
To get details on a particular year coach you can look at all the old sales brochures at Alpine Coach Association

Mike: You find WRV produced a pretty good quality coach. As Carter said, the roof is fiberglass not a rubber membrane. You will find the folks on this forum realistic about there Alpines. But we do love them. If interested I have post my opinion about my Alpine here:
