Fill the water tank

Can anyone tell me how to fill the water tanks?
Should be easy, but I am not getting any indication on my Silverleaf.

Just connect hose and turn on water. Go to your silverleaf screen, open info screen, look for Autofill and press start. Auto fill will shut off when tank is 90 to 95% full. If you leave the water connected and turned on the autofill will activate and refill the tank when the water level is low.

If you use the RO fill, you will need to open the hand valve and deploy your sewer hose. When you begin filling, you will see bleed water exiting your sewer hose. This is waste water from the RO membrane. Our Apex loads water at about 6 gallons per hour. Also, watch the two pressure gauges on the R/H side of your wet bay. They should read a very close to equal pressure. If there is a significant difference, replace your filters. Oh, select water filters for your incoming.
Hang in there!

So is this how it works?
So I don’t need the RO fill then? Just use the city water selector and the white hose from the hose reel and send the water into the bus. Must have the auto fill on? So the unit uses the onboard tank first, then refills the tank via the auto fill?

When would I use the water pump? When I am bondocking only? So when the tank is full their is enough pressure to keep a strong stream of water as long as I am connected to the city and have the auto fill on?

How am I doing? Does that sound about right? If so, then it is nothing like my old Providence.

You can use either city or RO water. We prefer the RO water because of the purity over our very hard city water. With either source selected, you need to have the auto fill turned on. The auto fill is an electric solenoid that you should hear click when you call for auto fill. We always use our pump for water circulation. If you have really good water, try filling your tank and using your pump. If not, load RO water and use your pump.

Does your Silverleaf display in your front TV?
Do you have a remote to navigate through the various menu’s? I have found that the video displays on the TV provide a little more detailed information than the dash board screen.
Hang in there! Alpiner’s are all up to the challenge! Especially Apex owners.

It does but I don’t have the remote. I’m going to change the tv out and hopefully it has the S video to hook up the module. The. I will get the remote.

I tried filling up via the RO filter but it won’t fill. I don’t think I had the auto drain on at the time.

So there is an RO tank as well that is different than the city water tank?

You will need a Silverleaf remote. They might stock some rebuilds.
You only have one fresh water tank.
If your auto fill will not work, you will need to check the two water solenoids (1) Normally open, (1) normally closed. I have a spare each and will get you manufacture info.
When you call for auto fill on the dash Silverleaf screen, does it show “ON”?

1/2" electric solenoid valves (auto fill)

Contact "Electric Solenoid Valves" at: 900-983-8230. They are in New York.

Yes, the auto fill shows ON.

I guess I am confused about why I would need to select City or RO. Is both going into the same tank?

So when I am connected to city:
Select RO tank fill
Put Auto fill on
Put water pump on
Open the waste handle to allow water to drain from the RO tank (how much water will escape)
Make sure there is ample water in the tank before I bleed the lines

When I am not connected:
Select RO
Put Autofill OFF
Put water pump ON

Does that sound about right?
