Foggy Speedometer

I have a 2005 Alpine fdqs which we love. I would like some information on replacing the speedometer. Mine is so foggy that I can’t read the mileage at the bottom of the gauge. Is there a replacement available or is there other alternative gauges available. Any information would be appreciated
Thank you
Jeflen

Jeff, last I heard was Actia was out of business, but IIRC they were out of somewhere around Indiana?

They are still around. I reached out to them about my speedo too.
The LCD on mine is messed up.

I used their contact form and got a response quickly. They asked for the serial number from the back of the speedo. I've since bought a BlueFire adapter as well, so my urgency to fix the LCD decreased a little. Mine is still useable, so I haven't pulled the dash apart yet.

Maybe now that we're parked for awhile, I will put that project nearer the top of my task list.
