Fuel filler size?
Saw a post elsewhere yesterday, about fuel filler sizes on various coaches. Was kinda surprised at how many couldn’t fuel up at the truck pumps because of small fuel openings. Someone with a 98 Alpine said theirs was small, and couldn’t fuel at the truck pumps. Is that the case with all Alpines? If not, what years can? Thanks.

I have no problem fueling my 1998 Alpine at the truck pumps.
As it nears full the foaming fuel will trigger pre-mature the shut off at either auto or truck pumps.

Our 2000 has the large filler neck and it actually fuels better at the truck pumps. For some reason the small nozzles tend to kick off easily.

My 2009 has no issues with nozzle size but I have found that it cannot take the volume set at the lowest setting so at most truck stops I have to hold the nozzle at the lowest place for the whole fill up.

Hi. I just saw where you live. Onalaska, Tx.
I live in Onalaska Wa.
There was 4 towns with that name, only 3 now I believe. Have you read the history on Onalaska towns?
Sorry for the off topic and interruption.

Perhaps something like this could be your friend. If you search you can find this from a U.S. seller, I shared this for the image of how to use it. I suspect you still will not be able to fill the tank as fast as the pump can pump, but at least you should be able to fill the tank. ~CA
