Functioning load capacity for living slider. 04 38’ Alpine

Hi. I live and work out of my rig so have removed dining area and wanT to put in work utility table in 6’ by 4’ slide area near my sofa. I move a fair amount and boondock half time. I need to know how much I can load that area with tools and not overload my slider. It averages about 3 times a week. I’m a suburban boo docked. Please I’m not looking for sitting capacity and have no intentions of using jacks. I’m about 180 pounds and sit in sofa area too. Thanks

On all other models, that slide carries the kitchen. Counter, cabinets, cooktop, microwave, 10 gallon water heater. Heavy stuff. I don’t know what the weight capacity is for the slide, but it is a very robust design. I’d guess the kitchen slide carries 500-1000lbs more than the dinette slide.

FWIW: WRV recommends deploying the jacks prior to extending the slides.

Thanks and yes I do deploy my jacks. I meant to say that Iwont be putting the jack supports under the slide area when it’s out like in the parks. I’m thinking about 500 pounds in that area so feel good about it. It feels stout just sort of paranoid because of initial creaking sounds when slider is coming in at the start.

What jacks supports are you putting under the slides?

Yes, the slides do make some noises when extended and retracted.
