Furnance not working

You can tell I just bought this 2006 Alpine 40 ft. Lots of things Im having trouble figuring out. Now I cant get the furnance to come on. The LP tank is full and the stove is working. Help. Thanks, Doug

Doug, since you got the Alpine "Limited" possibly it did not come with a furnace. I do assume that you have the thermostat set on furnace. When you push the thermostat up does it attempt to light. If you do not hear anything you might look into your motherboard. If you do hear a click and it does not light check your incoming gas line for little critters like spiders. Your better half knows what they are.

Doug,

When my furnace quit working it was the 20 amp fuse blown which protects the furnace and water heater. Hope this helps.

Doug:

Mine was a stuck sail-switch. Trace the thermostat's attempt to turn on the furnace and see if the "turn on" signal is being received. Then move into the mechanics of the furnace (like the sail-switch). It could just be that the gas valve is not opening due to its various safety checks.
