Our LP gas detector has a red wire and a black wire. we have access to the wiring behind the gas detector via the bottom "drawer" around the corner from the detector. The red wire is connected to a green wire. The black wire is connected to a white wire and another black wire. The white wire is a ground. Does anyone have any idea where the other end of the white (ground) wire is attached to something?

You did not say if you are having a problem with the gas detector. I can only wonder why it is important that you know where the ground wire ataches. It no doubt attaches to the metal frame of the coach. Not much help for you, I guess.

I was trying to ask a more specific question about a problem I documented as " 12 Volt System Problem"

Speaking totally off old recollections....

Some coaches allow the LP detector to cut off gas to either the entire system (usual) or a specific appliance, in case of an alarm (detection).
