Guess the highest bid?
Bored......
anyone wanna guess what the highest bid will be? I’d be curious on what others think this is worth too, assuming there are no mechanical issues with it. Hasn’t been serviced in 3 years based on the fuel filter. Engine light is on too, but there could be multiple reasons for that, some of which wouldn’t be a concern.

$18K is more than I would pay for it via auction

Overall, it looks pretty clean and original inside and out. The service bay and battery bay are a bit crusty. Quite possibly, health issues or pandemic explains the coach sitting idle for 3 years. That alone, isn’t necessarily a deal breaker. The mileage, generator hours and TV upgrades provide some indication that the coach was used and cared for, in my opinion.
The VIN indicates the engine is the 350hp 8.3l. There is no record of the owner in the Alpine VIN list.
In today’s market, that coach in tiptop condition might bring $40-45K, maybe more. Sight unseen, I might not bid $25K, plus the 10% buyers fee, total $27.5K. Experienced eyes on the coach might up that to $30K, plus fees, depending on the outcome of the viewing/inspection. That’s not a floor plan I care for, however.

Kid Gloves's post made be go back and look through the photos. My coach is almost the same as this one. The biggest difference I saw was the for sale coach has 2 white leather ocuchews. My coach has one white leather couch and one grean cloth covered couch. FWIW, I love the floor plan. My wife and I each get a couch to lay on and watch TV. I saw several upgrades. the wood (laminate?) floor, the backsplash, flat screen TVs, an outside TV, and a pull out drawer in one storage bay. These are all good upgrades. I'd guess new batteries and tires plus a full fluids service would be the minimum to get on the road. I's also be concerned about the brakes. I's want to pull the wheel to check the discs and pads, grease the pins, and replace the brake fluid.

Too early in the auction to guess the eventual winning bid. Previews will not begin until Monday, Nov. 29th, and following that, I expect to see more realistic bids, depending what is observed. I agree that the reserve is probably in the $30K+ range and if the reserve is met after Monday, my guess would be it goes for over $40K.

Have you put in a bid? That might break the boredom.
It is just what you’re looking for after all.

It checks some of the boxes for what I want. But not enough of them for me to gamble on it.

No way I'd buy any coach at auction, sight unseen, without at least knowing somewhat the history of it and a decent inspection. I've seen too many flood damaged vehicles lately in Washington. Keep looking.

Doesn’t look bad. It was driven about 4000 miles since the fuel filter change.
Lots of cleaning of surface rust.
