Has anyone replaced the 'main water line from the radiator to the engine?

Has anyone replaced the main water line from the bottom of the radiator to the engine? It is 'metal and about 2" in diameter, 3' long with some bends in it.'
Has anyone changed it? Problems?
Thanks for your help as always.

Yes I did. Had a muffler/radiator shop bend and weld it up to match the original as a pattern (2-1/4 OD pipe). It was less than $200 for matl&labor. I primed and painted it. Pressure test with around 20 psi air for leaks. Best time to do it is during coolant change and you may as well replace the rubber hoses while it’s all apart. If you use google search for this forum you should get more details.

Same her on my Monaco but some have gone stainless. It's a nice way to go but a lot more money and you have to wait for it. My original steel pipe lasted almost 25 years the first time so I'm sure the second will out last me.
