HELP!!!! We have a 1999 36' fds that was recently broken into. The entire front panel that holds the radio and heater/ac control panel was ripped off.
Does anyone know who makes the heater/ac controls, and also the wood grain panel?
In other words, they really took everything and cut all electricial wires/cables/vacuum lines. I believe, the '98,'99 and 2000 Alpine coaches all had the same heater/ac control switches and wood grain panel. I have the chasis schematic (part #) 7654-61922-03. but also looking for a more detailed print.
Please let me know ASAP.. appreciate any assistance anyone might provide....

Hello & Welcome Jim:
Sorry to hear about the theft. I believe the Alpine Dash AC controls used are a GM type panel. I would contact WRV parts (800) 888-4133 for most the controls and wood paneling. They were used on several years. Or you can contact a cabinet maker who works on RV's to repair the dash and paneling.
I hope info this helps.

Thanks Dave for the info! Contacting a cabinet maker in making up the panel is a good thought if WRV can not help me. I do plan in contacting WRV today and go from their. Thanks Again! JIM

Dave WRV had the wood-grain-panel! Its on the way. Hope its the right one. Your right about the controls they are made by GM. Not available through WRV. Trying to locate a available source at the present. JIM

AlpineJim - we were just checking for parts for our Dash air etc problem w/Acme Air. I don't know if Acme made the control units for the 1999 Alpine coaches but you might check with them. They are the current mfg.
www.acmeair.com or call 1-800-552-2263. Good luck. Chuck

Chuck,
Thank-You for the Webb address for Acmeair. Talking with Roger at the present time trying to solve the control head and wiring harness problem. For my vintage of coach the harness is not available any more. I've got two choices either up-grade the system or have the harness custom made which may create other concerns so Roger says. Have to waite to see where this goes. At least its getting attention. On the other hand, I also need the Panel that holds the Heater/AC Head and Radio Receiver. At first WRV said they had it. It turn out, they don't. Not available. Nobody has a mold to make one. I'm working on that now. A few years back a early 2000 model Alpine burnt in a fire. I was wondering if anyone in the Alpine Coach Forum know what happen to that coach and if anything was salvageable around the control head panel. If so, please reply! Thanks
Jim

There are salvage years around for rv's. There are some links at RVSurplus.com, and I'm sure there are others around the country. Good luck.

WRV has a frame sitting in their frame shop that I understood was in a fire-- they are parting it out. But I have no idea if it is the same coach or what happened to the rest of the coach????
