I think that if you open the correct solenoid valve on the HWH manifold, the benerator slide will open. Mine has a winch on the slide to mannually close.

First question is do you have a hydraulic operated slide or is it the electric motor and screw drive. I have read on the forum that '03 was a transition year and it could be either. If it is electric you can disconnect the drive screw from underneath and then should be able to pull the slide out by hand. If you can't pull it out by hand your rollers are likely frozen up and thats the cause of your problem.

Are the hydraulics completely inoperable, no jacks, no slides?
Are the house batteries charged? If not, will the generator start?
It is a common practice to either run the generator or plug in to shore power prior to operating the hydraulic pump which places a high current demand on the batteries.

Yep. The earlier models. It appears that 2003 was the transition year. I’d always thought the switch to electric occurred with the 2004 models.
Just keep learning here.

Phil5944 - If the slide is hydraulic, then you can disconnect the hydraulic line on the rear of the DS ram. You’ll then need a pry bar to unseat it from the guide pins. Alternatively, If one person presses the extend button while you pry the slide outward, that should work also (assuming everything else is working). It all depends on the problem, i.e. solenoid vs. pump motor failure. I’ve experienced this issue years ago when the pump motor failed. Good luck!

He no longer owns the coach.
Also, some owners converted the slide opening mechanism from hydraulic to electric.
