I called Alpine about two weeks ago and told them and faxed the diagram that I created that the input 4 audio from the Sharp Aquos TV (for camcorder, Playstations, and etc.) was't hooked up to the entertainment center and I only got video and they ackowleged and said "We will file this drawing".

Last week, I took the rig back to Saddleback RV, Irvine for many other "shakedown" items including the audio issue and I got a call today from service saying "Alpine will not cover that and it will cost $200 for hooking up the lines".

So, I called Alpine and here is what they said. "Since you were the only complaint we got, we won't do it. If we got more than 50 calls on it, we will take care of it. Didn't you buy a $300k rig? We expect customers to do "Extra stuff" to their rigs and I think this falls under that catagory. Our answer is "NO".

So, I called Saddleback RV and talked to the GM. He said it was "chiken(language edited) " of them to say that and if Alpine does not cover it, they will.

So to make the long story short, I am very dissapointed with Alpine, WRV right now.

WRV/Alpine Coach is the biggest rip-offs on the planet. At least you only have a small issue, wait and see how they treat you if a BIG issue develops. Feel free to e-mail me for a WORD document about our experience with these crooks!! Al V
