HWH control unit
Has anyone have any information on their touch panel controlled leveling system.
My jacks will not work i need to know what to trouble shoot and look for,
all the fuses are good.
My touch panel comes on but won't stay on.
the part number on the HWH control box under the dash is AP14045 It operates the 4 leveling jacks and the 3 slides. It was working fine then one day i was cleaning my rv, I moved in the slides but could not get the jacks to store, i had to do it manualy.
Any suggestions would really help.

Thank You
Mike

Have you checked the control panel for loose connection/connector? They are notorious for working loose while traveling.
There’s also some small mini relays inside those black covers in front of the passenger seat. I had one literally about to fall out when I removed the black cover.
Those are the only 2 - issues I’ve experienced that prevented normal HWH operation.

I agree with Bob, check the wires on the back of the control panel, I will bet one is broken or at least loose (known problem).

i checked the newmar website, and found they only go back to 2004 and newer.
you have a 610 leveling system central ground, with up to 3 room extensions. i believe i sent you a 610 service manual. if i didnt, please email me at pfmaddox@att.net
replacement part number RAP90380 it should be a double stacked box, one controls jacks, the other rooms.
its air dump, no air leveling. 4 straight jacks, negative park brake signal.
if you have a problem with the control box, you have to send it in to hwh to be repaired.

you don't say which system you have... Here is the troubleshooting document for HWH 610 system.

Unlikely this is your issue, but FWIW, my problem with it was supremely simple (after hours of research and learning).
I'd pulled all the fuses on the board to clean the contacts with DeOxyIt, and one fuse was not inserted properly. Everything had worked, for a while. A close inspection revealed that one leg was in the slot, the other outside, but touching, part of the time.
R/R the fuse and all's been well in Alpine land.

whalepirot, i see that same problem all the time. it works when the system is cold, and fails after you run it a couple of times. seems the heat generated by use, caused the metal to warp enough to separate. my opinion, maybe not fact.
if the system runs intermittently, the components are probably ok. its almost always a bad connection. i said probably on the components, because they have connections on the circuit boards also.
its normally an open to the air connection. its best to clean all connections with a spray electronic cleaner.
dont just spray it, take it apart, and clear all corrosion or rust, then spray it before reconnecting.
if anyone has hwh questions, please call me at 602 549 3538, or email me at pfmaddox@att.net. i can help

Vetl, would that be the same brake sensor that intermittently makes the ABS light come on?

I was driving along a narrow country road last week and the "Jacks down" light and alarm went off.
Had to pull over and futz with all the buttons for a while to clear that up. Quite a startle.
Does that panel just come forward if you unscrew it to inspect the connections?

Brianna ; had you just been stopped for a while ? B-in-L had similar issues after fuel stops , exhaust heat was causing one of the rear jacks to extend just enough to trigger the alarm .
HWH fix was to cycle the system " store button " when starting the coach after every extended stop ; fuel, lunch etc: System will automatically shut down in two minutes .
