Question HWH Parts? Alternative?

I have been informed that the ram replacement and touchpad are both on backorder from HWH.

Is there anywhere else to order these parts besides directly from HWH?

Thank you

If you have the number written in black sharpie off the back of the keypad, you can search online and generally find them. The rams can usually be rebuilt by hydraulic shops, but most tech's don't like that as there's no warranty from HWH. Are you doing the work yourself or is a shop doing it?

HWH is way behind on work due to the pandemic and increased demand. My coach was in the shop waiting over 3 months on parts last winter.

A shop is doing it . I suggested sending out the ram to be rebuilt but they said the last 4 they sent out, sprung leaks.
The Ram is part #RAP15324
HWH is saying they are on backorder with no ETA on when they will get them.
I can't believe that HWH is the only place to get their parts.

Very Frustrating.

Visone in KY has a new touchpad.

I have contacted HWH to see if they can rebuild the leaking ram and what the turn around time is.

HWH informed me that they are having a hard time getting employees to come to work. They are making more money collecting unemployment. He said that Iowa is cancelling the extra $300 per week unemployment benefit in hopes it will get people back to work.

I will update when available

I just bought jack springs from Stuart’s 2 weeks ago. Their site is a little weird, call them. Very nice people.

I'm guessing that the Fed. unemployment is in addition to state unempl.? If so, I can see why they won't come back. This whole thing is so perverse.

Talking

Last Tuesday, the wife wanted the number and called HWH to plead her case through her point of view.

After speaking to the nice lady who took all our info, she was told that the Service Manager would call her back. I wasn't expecting a call but sure enough, "Joe" the service manager called her back @ 6pm.
Joe informed her the same info he told me about getting enough workers to manufacture replacement parts. She pleaded with him stating this was her only vacation coming up and we really needed the main slide room to work.

Joe ended the call saying that he would TRY to get the workers together to make our needed ram and send to our shop , on Friday.

I wasn't expecting anything to happen.

Shop sent me an email today that the new slide ram arrived this afternoon!

After we got the 1 ram, the other went out.
I immediately ordered another on June 30. and was informed yesterday that they would try to have the new ram built by this Friday.

We have been making due but sure do miss the LR slide wall, extra space.

We stopped at HWH and had them do some work on our leveling system.

It was one of the best RV service experiences we've had so far.

I would recommend HWH to anyone, and have.
