Hydraulic Strut-Mid Door Step

All- Mid door owners most likely. I have a hydraulic strut which has failed on the step, which helps hold it up. I have attempted to contact the OEM, to no avail. The owner wrote me back, I replied, and nothing. Not sure what is going on with that company, Columbia Struts in Lakewood, WA (maybe too much pot). Regardless, the OLD model number is: SP-6123. It measurers 18-8/16" in total length (middle of ball socket to middle of other end), the diameter of the shaft is 6mm. I have no idea of the pound rating of this device. Partly displayed on the label is a phone number, but it's missing part of it. If you can see if your struts labels are complete, and provide the phone number that would be great. I am going to go around to the Auto Parts Stores and see if they can match it up today. I will buy two, because the other one most likely has or is close to failure as well. If you can help thank you in advance.

Ok, I was able to match them at Auto Zone. 56.00 later I changed both of them. The one which was not broken is: CS-1850-30, and although it's not holding lift, it's not bent, nor is the label obscured. The ones I got, work, do not seem to have the same lift force, but they are supposed to be 32 lbs. Anyway I got it fixed. I have kept the old one, for reference if I need to do this again. Ed thank you for the information, I suggest all with mid door coaches with this setup keep the above information handy. Matching them was not hard, if you find a place willing to spend the time necessary.
