Many of the 2003 models were actually manufactured in 2002. In fact, mine has a VIN #74716 and built around May, 2002. What is your VIN #? I'm guessing that yours was built right at the model year transition in 2002. The "Sonora" was listed with the 2002 models and not the 2003 models.

Regardless, I agree with everything you're saying about white. My brother-in-law owns a 2000 which is white with stripes and I really like it. It's a very "clean" looking color scheme that that doesn't show dirt and water spots as badly as mine.
