Insulation

We have a 2008 36 2 slide mid entry. Has anyone found areas of no insulation in the walls and wall/ceiling seam and if so how did you repair it?

I have the same model circa 2005. How are you identifying these areas that lack insulation?

Linda, you shouldn’t find any areas of no insulation, except where there are wire ways. WRV manufactured the coaches with foam insulation between the aluminum studs. When the coach was delivered to the first owner there were samples of the wall, floor and even the roof in the basement (there were also 4 or 5 spare tiles).

We have an area in the bathroom, floor to ceiling and along the ceiling/wall joint in the bedroom, that is very hot in the Arizona sun and collects condensation in the cold. That would indicate to me that it is lacking insulation. This is an 08, could be sloppy workmanship. We had an 01 and the fit and finish were much better.

Linda, I assume you purchased this as a second (or later) owner, so you are not aware of when it was (or if it was) finished by WRV. When WRV went out of business there were several coaches that were still in the process of being finished, but not complete, I am wondering if yours could be one of them. What are the last 5 digits of you VIN?
