Why not start the generator and see if the microwave works? That would point you to the microwave or the inverter based on the result of the test.

08 Winnebago Destination 39W Gas UFO Workhorse Chassis......It's really weird being the same age as old people. I thought getting old would take much longer.

MICROWAVE---and everything else works (and has always worked) properly with generator or shore power.
NOW---110 volt lights and tv sets work with inverter, but microwave is not happy. This is a new issue.
BATTERIES---are wired per the Alpine diagrams and seem to be holding a charge and coping with a normal DC load as you would expect.
GFCI--- in bathroom buzzes when using inverter. That seems like another sign of low voltage.

You might be upgrading to those lithium batteries sooner than you planned
