When I
Put the jacks down and leveled the coach I checked the floor with a bubble level and the coach is level. I checked the wheel well dimensions and the left front corner is still lower by 1.75 or so. That is why I think it is a manufacturing issue.

One would think if I had any frame damage during the coaches some 15 years and 50k of life that it would be noticeable in the panel alignment. Yes there is a place or to on the top curves of the side panels that have a slight wavie ness but nothing I have ever been concerned about. From what I have seen on this site it’s some what common. Bottom line unless I find other solutions my plan is to set the air bags properly and put it back in the garage until the next trip.

...based on my personal experience with older Alpines and the postings above, I think you are worrying about a non-issue--IMHO.....

I too can not adjust my front linkage to the proper ride height. I purchased some adjustable linkage. I not sure which neway axle I have the rage is missing from the front axle. As 090, AS 120, AS 140 ranging from an adjustment of 9 1/2 to 10 5/16
Not really sure how to tell?

Could you go into more detail on what you mean here. Thanks.

...pretty sure the front axle height on all Alpines is 10 5/16, regardless of the suspension model, which did change over the years. Again, if you are following all the posts on this topic...."Exact" ride height is more of an art than a science. The weight balance on each of the four corners has a lot to do with ride height at any one corner. You also might note that every time you park the rig, the height might be a bit different....So if you are looking for perfection, this isn't the place to find it.....
PS--I am sure others will disagree but that is the "fun" of this forum.....

Old Scout,
I attend ralleys in the Southwest and have weighed thousands of RV's. on a two axel coach I like to keep the the side to side weight balance within 500lbs. On a three axel coach within 1,000lbs. But floor plan has a lot to do with it. On older coaches without slides I find a much better balance then coaches with slides, especially super-slides. Because tire pressure is based on the heavest side on each axel, the closer to a balance the better the ride and handling. unless you have a perfect balance (very rare) one tire is always a little over inflated.

….good information, I was hoping for some "experience" to back up my "theory" on weight distribution.....

I discovered a leak in the driver's side air bag. Caused by a bolt head that is so close to the bag that it chaffed until a small leak materialized. I am looking for advice about the part number of the bag and if it is out of the question to change my self.
2005 36' Alpine
Thanks
Jim

…..don't have the specifics but Jay B. has a good post on this forum on DIY air bag replacement--sounded very do-able to me.....apparently rear axle access is a bit better than front axle.....
