Looking for a table wall bracket
Hi all,
We recently bought a 2001 36 FDDS and it has the booth dinette installed. We are looking to remodel the curbside area and would like to remove the both and replace with table and chairs.
I have actually tracked down a never used table with leaf from a 2004 36 which will work perfectly but they do not have the wall bracket. I'm wondering if anyone might have the bracket that attaches to the side wall hanging around that they are not using??
I figured I'd ask here just in case......otherwise I'm guessing I can fabricate one with aluminum angle or find one in a salvage yard......love to hear any suggestions??
Thanks in advance

How about a hardwood 2"X2" carefully screwed to structural members in the wall, then up into the table top.
If you want the table removable, only a little more complex.

With above method, a couple of short pieces of doweling inserted into 2x2, then a couple partial holes as a receiver from up under table top and you're done....

Thanks guys......I feel pretty comfortable fabricating a bracket if it comes to that but I am hoping I can find someone who has one laying around after a remodel or for some other reason

On ours just used 2x2 hardwood had laying around and screwed into the wall and up into the table. Easy and it's not going anywhere.

Does your booth set on a stage platform. We have the Booth in our 2003 and its on a platform and that's the slide wall. I want to go with table and chairs and I don't know what's under the platform to change it over to table and chairs. Its about 4inches off floor. So what would you do to lower it down to floor and also slide. Is that on a sheet of plywood with carpet over it. I wanted to go someone's shop that does this to see what's there. Thanks

In the 34 and 36 the table in on the floor on the curbside and not in slide so not sure how that would work on the 38

Yes it's mounted on the slide. Hard to tell with the patterns on the floor - sort of blends together on the photos. It's a plywood deck under the carpet. Added a photo from when we were doing some of the tear out. It was all carpet when we got it. Can also see the tile floor we tore out too which was a fun job. The table can't be wider than the slide, or at least the support legs. If you are wanting to get something longer for more people you could probably do something with a hinged leaf I suppose.

Thanks Bruce, So the table slides across the floor when you bring your slide in or out is that right? Our is that the whole floor moving in or out. I'm having trouble understanding how the slide works I guess. I had thought of mounting the table to the wall with no legs then the floor would be plywood or carpet slide over the floor. Was that box hard to remove without tearing everything up. That job would not be on sale to have it done. I'm tall and my knees have dings from getting in and out of the booth. If I look the couch over real good I guess it would be the same. Thanks again

Not sure I understand your question, but the slide moves across the floor. The table is attached to the wall which is part of the slide. Would imagine you would still need some support on the end away from the wall for the table. That support would fasten to the slide floor - not the main floor. The booth is not that difficult to take apart. It's all screwed in. I took out the deck on the seat part first and then can get at the screws. Some are into the wall and some into the floor. Took about an hour to get it all out. Actually used a sawzall in a few sections just to make smaller pieces to make it easier to take out.
