We are working our way south from Anacortes to the California desert. We are stopping and looking for a place to spend a month or so nest summer somewhere in the Northwest that someone may know about. Interests include golfing, crabbing and clamming, fishing, biking, etc. We prefer fulling facilities but not 'Outdoor Resort' like. Those who belong to 1000 Trails that have been to Seaside or Whaler Rest near Newport, Or. should know that those facilities are fine. We spent a month at Mallard Creek RV and Golf resord this summer. The facilities were nice but poorly managed. Fidalgo Bay in Anacortes was nice. Please give me any web sites that you could recommend. Currentl rig is running great.

Hey, we just got home from that area....spent 2 wks at Oak Harbor, Widbey Island. Was great. We stayed at the Oak Harbor City Beach Park...$20/nite - full hookups. GREAT park area. Lots of area to walk, bike ride, very very clean. There are restrooms, but we didn't use so don't know their condition....laundry a couple block away. This is a public park and it over looks the bay - beautiful! Lots to see and do around the island. RV ("Trailer Camp" as it is called) is operated by the city - it is listed in Trailer Life directory.

Really good places to eat also!

Donna and Chuck. Thanks, I will look it up. Please excuse my typing. My wife, the secretary, said 'you didn't send that message with all those errors did you?' I guess I did not proof read and I barely could read what I was asking for!!!!! My emails use the spell- check but I guess these postings do not.
