Manual open smart beds?

I assume if I can remove this nut I might be able to open the slides? Problem is that there is no clearance for a normal size wrench to fit in there. I need to source a skinny wrench. Anyone know what size this is?

I have to say, this is a horrible design, not being able to get into the basement when something goes wrong with the hydraulics. Note to self: do not store your tools in the basement.

further cheer!

On the subject of access lost, the basement doors' latches/locks should be checked to ensure none of their hardware, portending an inability to access those basement compartments.

I believe your other post has my reply with a manual on emergency basement slider ops.

Yes, removing that big nut will allow you to pull the smart bed open.
