Master Cylinder Replacement

All - Ordered the MC from Wagner, Part Number MC131759. I purchased it from "Find it Parts" - See this Link - https://www.finditparts.com/ - You will need to call them, or call Wagner direct to locate stock, then get FIP to order it for you. It was 244.00 in price.

Amazon sometimes has this MC sometimes, around the same money-See This Link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001L077UO...=3IC8HMCL0A3CO

A local shop in North Georgia Completed the work, and I am please with what they did. I drove it back home to its resting place and here are my first impressions.

Brake pedal is softer, but brake action is faster and sharper, with less pedal pressure. I stood on the pedal, coach seems to stop quicker, with less effort. Its better for the amount of pedal pressure, but not like my Jeep or our Acura, realize less weight involved.

We are planning some trips with it, and I will report back. It's a vast improvement over the OEM one, which I kept as a backup.

This MH is for sale, and I have had or completed all "fixes now" which western failed to get correct. The kitchen sink drain fix and now the MC has been completed. We installed the steering bracket fix in 2010.

I hope this is the last OEM fix we need to do aside from regular maintenance. HH says not necessary to change the fluid, but going to anyway as I don't like the dark color, genset needs it's annual oil change those are scheduled for the next two weeks.

Good report--your experience with pedal pressure improvement is consistent with most owners that have installed the "upgraded" M/C.....

It will never stop as easily a passenger vehicle does. I am a bit puzzled that you say you "stood" on the pedal while also saying repeatedly that it stops better with less effort/pressure. I have the upgraded MC and have never needed to exert more than a moderate amount of pressure to slow or stop the coach even during a few near panic moments.

Stood on the pedal means I want an emergency stop situation, and it worked much better than prior to this part being installed. Now I feel I can stop it and in fact the BH could drive and stop it now, before she could not even push the pedal down.
