We have a Dometic - but we have never liked the way it bakes bisquits, cakes, cobblers, etc. on convection mode. Also, we had to get out the instruction book every time we used it to remember the difficult series of button pushes required to get it to preheat and then do a timed bake.
Our little toaster-oven died and we replaced it with a Cuisinart model 708-155 toaster/baker/broiler which is a little larger. We love it for toast, pizza, bisquits, baking, bread, etc. Bought a second one for home. Easy controls and preheats quickly. Around $100 on Amazon.com

Have a sharp R-1870. Had the same problem about 3yrs ago, had it repaired when we got home, sure was cheaper then a new one.
