Monty,

Due to the large amount of power used by the inverters in our coaches, the 12 volt supply to them is not switched. Turning off the house batteries, DOES NOT shut off the power to the inverter. The newer coaches have a 300 amp fuse in the 12 volt hot line to the inverter and the older coaches just had the fuse in the ground line.

As to where to get Aqua Hot parts, have you checked with the manufacturer? Here is link to them.

Aqua Hot

As to other questions, others are covering that for you.

I will try to be clearer in my posts, I am a lazy typist and try to get it all out in few words.

I lied, in my post about being retired, I am only semi-retired. We are in Oxnard, CA enjoying living in the coach, but working hard on a rental. Don't have a nice lake view here, but Yum Yum, our cat is with us as always.

I hope you get to start enjoying your coach soon.

Dale,

Was that a typo on the 300 amp fuse? Called HH, the board has been shipped, should be in on Thursday, and hopefully I can arrange to get it and put it in, or have it put in on Friday, prior to our trip. I have rental property as well, and that can be a full time job sometimes.
I have always changed my own oil, tuned up truck when you "could tune up a truck", and try to do all the maintenance issues myself if I have the tools and a place to work. Currently I don't have a good place, so it's hit or miss. It will be do for an oil change next April, so I will let cummings do that, since they have a place for all that oil. Once I get my shop built, I will most likely start doing them, since we have a statewide recycling program, and they pick up your oil on the street. 6 gallons of oil isnt too bad.

Oh, thank you all for the Bike Rack recommendations, I have save those links, and once I get rid of the Yakima one, which does not work, I will investigate the other two. Now about those wiper covers, what is best, or is it worth worring about and just get some?

Monty,

300 amps is correct, it is for 12 volts, not the same as 120 volts. 300 amps at 12 volts = 3600 watts. 30 amps at 120 volts = 3600 watts.
