Mystery Water
I have a 40 ft 2005 Alpine. We were traveling last weekend, and after an evening out we came home to find a wet spot next to the bed on the carpet. We initially blamed the dog as this was her first trip in the coach and felt she may have gotten nervous. We sopped it up with some towles, but it kept reoccuring and we knew the dog was not to blame. This is the small area after the tile ends in front of the sink and the carpet starts. I have pulled the front off the sink and all is dry there. I took the inspection cover off the bed frame and all is dry there. I do not see any visible signs of leakage in any of the basement bays, but it has to be coming from somewhere. My suspicion is that there is a leak in the inlet city water supply line. I cannot find how to see those lines to check for a leak. Does anyone have a plumbing diagram. The one in the owners manual is too sketchy. Or has anyone experienced this type of problem??

Mine is an older coach but I have had the same experience. In my case the problem was a leaky water line coming from the hot water heater. A slowly leaking valve.

How about the washer/dryer. Even if you don't have them, there will be plumbing for them.

The last time I punished my dog for pittling there, it was actually some water that dribbled off the slide, while it was still in.
The inlet valve would be too low. Did you check behind the electrical box (access through shelf in cabinet) to see if it is wet? I would think you'd see some water dripping into the utility bay, if it were.

When we had our '06 34 footer, the carpet in front of the bed was getting wet. Turned out to be the security light outside over the utility bay that leaked when it rained. Water ran down the wall, under the sink and the carpet soaked it all up. Sealed the light and all was well.

FWIW - It would be way helpful to know what year coach and what model you have, so please setup a signature file with that information. Having that info, would let us know if you even have washer dryer, or the bedroom sink, which then lends itself to the leak you are describing. I have no plumbing aft of the bathroom sink/shower/washer/dryer area, when we found water their it was water from outside rain when going down the road being allowed in from the vanity slide. I replaced the weatherstripping on the outside of the slide, but still need to adjust the travel in, so it is tight at the bottom and the top for that slide. I try to travel when it's not raining.
