New Alpine

Hi

We are now officially Alpine Drivers! We took delivery of a 2000 38 FDS Alpine a couple of weeks ago. We love it so far. So far we have replaced the original carpet and the sofa bed and also a new recliner. Recovering the valances is coming and when it is all done it should look really nice.

We have already learned lots on this forum and look forward to learning and sharing lots more.

Geoff and my better half Pat

Geoff & Pat, a BIG WELCOME to the Alpine family. We know you will love your new home on wheels just as all of us do! Sure hope we get to meet you somewhere along the way.

You may wish to consider becoming a part of our national Alpine owners club. You can check us out at www.alpinecoachassociation.com. We also have regional clubs in the east, northwest, northern California/Nevada and southern California/Nevada. Not know where you live, I'm not sure where to lead you. However, I would encourage you to attend one or more of our national or regional rallies to get to know what we are all about. Just post a note here if you'd like more info about the appropriate regional club. I guarantee we are a great group of people!!

With participation in this forum and attending owner rallies, you'll have the greatest resources possible for maintaining, repairing, upgrading your new Alpine.

Thanks for the welcomes. My wife and I are busy doing a few upgrades and of course trying to fix a number of "small" items on our coach. Unfortunately we are coming to the end of our winter down south in the warmth. We also have not sold our Jayco Melbourne yet so we have to drive it home and consign it on arrival. All this to say that we won't be joining any ACA or FMCA or NoWACA until the fall when we come back down south.

Thanks again

Welcome Geoff and Pat. You will find just about anything you need to know about your Alpine on this forum. So many here have helped me after our purchase last year.
