What size tires came with the 2005 40mdts

You coach should have a sticker that gives you tires size, weight limits, and air pressure. On my 2001, the sticker is near the fuel fill. Open the generator slide to view.

Interesting that the early Alpines came with 11Rs. My early 2003 Alpine came with 295 75Rs. The 75Rs got harder to find so I move up to 295 80Rs as that was what the newer Alpines had. I didn't have the tranny updated so I noted about 3% slower on speedometer and 5% less on the odometer. For one change, I went with 11R rears and 295 80R fronts. Believe the 11Rs were about the same circumference as the 295 80Rs. Local truckers seemed to like 11Rs for their trailers, Vs the wider 295 80R. With almost 200k miles on my 2003, I had several "opportunities" over the 18 years we owned it to try out different tire options.

I run 11r's on my 2006 Alpine. I just replaced my front tires that were seven years old. I advertised those two used tires on craigslist for $100 a piece. I must of got eight calls on them. I was thinking that I should of asked a little more for them. Funny thing when I bought those tires seven years ago the dealer wanted to charge me to take the used tires off of my hands.

My 2005 36fdds came from WRV with Toyo 11R22.5 tires. I still run Toyos today and same size.

Those Toyo’s are good tires although I did have a “radial pull” on my last set. They simply swapped the fronts which cured the problem. I had to go with Yokohama’s this set because Toyo’s were not readily available at the time. Seem to be good tires and handle the same.
