I have used Blackstone Labs every oil change for our coach the last 4 years. I also test coolant, genset and trans. Need to pull the diff oil one of these days.
They now know my coach and 3 cars and always put in a note that is relative to the test.

Here is a report from 2018.

Looking back at my records....in '16 my insolubles went to 0.4, that was a Wix filter. All other filters have always been the premium LF9009. Also on 12/17 the oil was not changed. I just pulled a sample.

I use them on both of my trucks, my motorcycle, and the wife's car. Oil samples are $28 for your standard SOAP report. You can pay to have other tests run if you wish. I like that they charge you when you send in the sample, not when they send you the bottle. They're also generous with sending new bottles when you ask for them and I've got 6 sitting in the shop ready for when I need them.
Is there anything specific you're looking for out of these analyses?

Thank you John for the reply. Bought the motorhome about 6 months ago, just checking it out. Motor is a Cummins ISL runs fine. Want to get a checkup and baseline for engine. Still finding out good and bad things about my Alpine.

You do find out quite a bit when you put your vehicles on a SOAP (spectrometric oil analysis program). I find my 7.3 Power stroke is a little high on iron, but it's my tow vehicle for my Alpenlite FW, so it's elevated but expected for the abuse it gets.
Do you plan on cutting the filters as well?
