Onan 7.5HDKAJ/11451D Control Board

Has any one successfully repaired their Onan by replacing the control board or some other part- short of replacing the $2700 inverter as suggested by Cummins/Onan?

Part number and source would be greatly appreciated.

I've found dozens of posts regarding non-starting generators. The recommended repair was always replacing the very expensive inverter.

One person on another forum had his control board repaired (3 years ago) by a company called Test Point in Mass. Google can't find the company for me.

I have had boards for other generators and reefers repaired by Dinosaur Electronics. I don't have the part number for this board to check their inventory online.
I will call them tomorrow but will probably need the part number.

Thanks for all suggestions.

If it was only about the glow plugs--think I would consider a manual 12v switch on the dash. Might be more complex than that but that's what an old farm kid from Wis would try??????
PS--I'd probably have to add an "idiot" light to the switch to remind me to shut it off.....

That's exactly what I'm going to do since it is only a glow plug/starting issue.
Separate glow plug circuit. Interim solution.

But, if I can repair/replace the control board at a "reasonable" cost I'll do that also.

Thanks
