Anyone out there have an idea as to the hourly fuel consumption of the Onan generator?

Thanks.

That's at 1/2 load.

Full load is about 1 gallon per hour.

And don't forget, that's drawing over 60 amps. Might be tough to find enough things to turn on at the same time to fully-load it to capacity.

I'm constantly amazed at how frugal mine is.
I keep trying to invent ways to hook it to the drive-wheels or to power the entire stick-house when I'm there.

Hello Dave:

When Donna & I were at the Cheyenne Rally in 2004 dry camping in 100? weather we left Paloma in the Coach with the generator running and the A/C's set at 75? I put 50 hours on the generator. I fuelled at the Flying J just before we arrived (8 miles) and again just as we left (8 miles) and the Alpine took about 12 gallons of fuel. I guess I used 2 gallons for travel and 10 in the generator. So if my guessing is close I used less then a 1/4 gallon per hour.

David, that was a really good test for generator fuel consumption. And, your math was right on.

Thanks!
