Thumbs up Gorgeous

Finally I've a solution to the missing(damaged) logo for our '07.

Soon, I'll have 5 vinyl appliques (like the rear) in hand. Seems a decent deal @$100 from a local (Costa Mesa). I'm told they can be a bit tricky to apply, so I got extras.

Film at 11.

Your coach looks real sharp with the new bolder stripes extending onto the basement doors. I'm thinking of getting some areas fixed on my coach also but it may have to wait until later this year of next year until funds are more available to do so. The UPS delivery person dropped off my new cover and let go of his 2 wheel dolly which then fell back into the basement door putting a rather large and noticeable dent in the door. I have the money for that repair from their insurance man but there are other areas that need repair too. I'm thinking of using it this year then getting it done. Has anyone ever used Don's Body and RV Repair in Colorado Springs, CO for repairs? They have a full facility to handle such repairs at least according to their website.

Hi

I was lucky shop didn't have to remove the original logos. I am still looking for the WRV logo in the stainless plate in the front. It was missing when i bought the Alpine last year. Tried Aubry's in Washington NLA. I keep looking Smart move on extra logos they can be a little tricky

The trick for vinyl is soap and water and masking tape. Position the vinyl and keep it in place with masking tape, top side only. Get a spray bottle and fill it with water and a few drops of dish soap. Lift the decal and spray this under where the decal will sit. Remove the backing from the decal and use a squeegee to get the air and water out from under the decal. Work from the center out. If you get air/water bubbles prick them with a pin or the corner of a razor blade and work the bubble toward that hole. Do all of this in the shade so your water does not evaporate. Having a helper to hold up the decal while you're putting it down helps but don't pull too hard you'll stretch the decal and there's no going back from that. Do the small ones first they're easier. The place you get the vinyl can probably get you the squeegee. Good luck.

Dent

Hi

I have a similar story. The coach was at the shop getting new brakes all around. Tech left the battery charger on the side of the coach and dumped the airbags bent 2 of the basement doors. They offered to repair the damage. So decided to get the refresh dome at the same time. Rehorn did my repairs super clean shop, paint booth is huge. http://rehornrvcollisioncenter.com/. Sorry for the UPS dent. At least they should have good insurance and just pay out i hope.
