I also recently added the second panel inside and switch over after hooking up, beats going out in the rain or cold if you get an error. Our PI EMS has saved us twice already!

Exactly what I did. If I remember correctly I used two phone cables - one at the EMS monitor in the rear and one at the front to hook the second monitor. By using an even number of phone cables you end up right. You could remap the cables to data cables ehich would work as well.

I want to try and get my monitor with the rest of them. I haven't looked too close at it yet to see what it will take though.
Well it probably will work, thanks!
I checked the original data cable against a standard phone cable with the ohm meter, yes they are reversed. No, I haven't utilized the coach phone jacks yet. For now I have the remote panel mounted of all places in the upper spice cabinet. The good news is nothing bad happened when I tried a standard phone cable, thank goodness.
Those panels are really really bright, not sure I want the inside one lit up and blinking like Area 51 all night. Close the door, problem solved. Thanks again!

Oh no, I'm not unplugging my baby blue Southern Bell princess phone. I could miss an important call!
