just curious if the alpine comes with a short queen or a regular queen. Can’t get to my new to me rv until Saturday. Want to order a new mattress. Any recommendations are helpful.

Our original mattress was very light and thin. We switched it out with the one in our old rig within minutes of taking possession. It is 80 x 60 x 12 inches. It's taller, but I like that. I hope this helps.
We loved the queen Sleep Number mattress we had in our house and it fit nicely in our Alpine Coach when we became fulltimers. I've heard they make ones especially for RVs, but our "household" one works fine.
We also have a Sleep Number bed in the coach, the RV version. Difference is supposedly due to federal flammability restrictions on materials used in automotive applications, not functional differences.
