We have been back on the road for almost two weeks and the new radiator and repaired air charge cooler seem to be tight and not leaking.

We had one problem with the installation of the new radiator, The old radiator had bushings for the top mounts and the bottom was hard mounted with threaded rods. That led to one of the tabs breaking its weld and probably leading to the leak. The new radiator had bottom tabs drilled for the same bushings that were used at the top.

Through Burk Morgan I found out that the bushings were supplied by Trelleborg Automotive
South Haven, MI 49090, but they will not sell to us or Cummins. This caused another week delay as we had to go through their distributor
Mission Sales & Supply in Mansfield Texas,
http://www.missionsupplyonline.com/t...g/parts/eh.php
The bushing is`part #20-02796-01
FS Mount 45
Drawing # 55/1196

The air charge cooler repair was accomplished by a willing radiator shop, it took awhile before finding American Radiator in St. Louis, Mo. The ACC leaked where the tanks were bolted to the end caps of the core. I ordered new gaskets and the shop completed the repair.

All in all the insurance company saved close to45% getting the radiator from Burk as opposed to having one made by Radiator Specialties in Sacramento and we saves two to three weeks of additional waiting at Cummins, Normal, Il.
