Rear engine access door

I am missing one of the two metal latches that hold my rear engine access cover in the closed position. Does anybody know where I can find a replacement piece? I have been trying to find something online and trying my local rv and hardware stores. What makes it harder is it has no part number stamped on it anywhere. Any help would be awesome. I will work on getting a picture up.

That is a latch plate for a pull action toggle clamp, just something for the J-hook to latch onto. I found similar clamps on Amazon for a different project, some of which come with latch plates of various types. Not what you have, but they might be a replacement.

Not much help, but....

Engine door Southco latch

Hi everyone. I just replaced our engine hatch latches.
They are Southco part number

C-13-35

978782

Bought them at bontragers rv surplus in white pigeon mi in September 15 cost 8 dollars each and fit like a glove.

I did notice that bontragers had the same latch with 2 different size clamp arm lengths. The longer one fits the engine hatch and the shorter one fits our bay doors.

Hope this helps
