Rear ride height

I have found the specs for the front ride height, but I don't seem to find any thing for the rears. I have an 09 40MDTS. Currently I'm at about 11 3/8" on the fronts (appears I'm about 1" high) and 12 1/4 on the rears.

I don't know what chassis manufacturer you have, but if you call thenm with your year and vin they should be able to give you the specs.

Be sure you know exactly how it is supposed to be measured. (ie between frame at xx spot, and either the c/line of shock bolt, or to the bolt.

I had gone to the Freightliner class, and we got the information in the class for our chassis.

Once you know, then make yourself 3 sticks of slightly different lengths, one just too long, one just right, and one just too short. That way you'll never have to use a ruler again, just take your sticks to annually check the ride height.

A little more information. The rear suspension is a Holland/Neway ADL 120. The current height is 15 1/2" from the CL of the axle to the bottom of the chassis. The drives like it is light in the front and heavy in the rear and after having it weighed, it is - 500 under on the rear and 2200 under on the front.

Last/only ride height spec documentation on the ACA Website is for the 2000 Alpine, and shows 7 1/2 inches for rear, as measured from CL of axle to bottom of frame; and 10 5/16 inches for the front, as measured from the bottom of the frame to the lower plate of the air bags [top of axle]. Not sure how much the R/H specs might have changed with the suspension upgrade in early 2005 but have never heard/seen any other R/H specs. Individual axle weights really don't enter in to this discussion, except with regard to max weight per axle--not impacted by R/H. What does come into play with adjusting R/H is 4-corner axle weights--with particular concern for cross corner differences....
Lots of discussion on this forum about R/H adjustment....
