Re: Alpine Limited 2005 40' FDTS
Has anyone made modifications to remove TV from back cabinet and install doors/draws/shelving in that space? And then mount a new small flat screen TV on slide/wall/ceiling? Or any other good ideas?

I installed a 26 inch LCD. I mounted it on a swing out mount. I used the space behind it for a DVD player,HDDVR and a Sling box.

Hi Vic

I am in the process of replacing all my old style cables with RG6 cable to rear TV, cable hookup at sanitation station and the satellite input area in the bay area.

I have my rear TV out as I write this and I plan to replace it with a LCD flat screen after I modify the cabinets in the front to accommodate a new LCD.

The area in the bedroom is straight foreword and easy to get everything connected and mounted in the existing cabinet. My coach has enough room for a 20" LCD to be added without much modification.

Your coach is newer than mine and may be configured differently in the bedroom area but I think it should be an easy conversion.

Hi Jerry,

I have a 36 side door and have started in the front passenger side cabinets next to my cabinets in the front of the coach. There is a channel behind the false back of the cabinets that runs along the passenger side and goes behind the refrigerator. I am running the wires down the refrigerator cavity, run one wire into the washer/dryer cabinet, then into the bathroom behind the molding and finally into the cavity that holds the TV. The other 2 go through the floor in the refrigerator cavity and into the bay area to their respective places.
