Red Light Above Door
I have a small red light above the entry door and I have never seen it on. Can anyone share its function? Since its color is red I assume its an alarm of some sort.
Thanks

Do you have a solar panel on the roof? Some Alpine owners report that could be the location of the wires for the 10 watt solar panel.

That's the indicator that the basement lights are on. I've changed ours to LED because I worried about them getting hot and starting a fire. Same for the closet lamp.

That was the first thing that came to mind when I saw this post. Great minds think alike.

Do you have an alarm system? I have the same light and I think it is associated with the alarm system the previous owner installed on the coach.

On my '07, it indicates there is power to the basement lights although they might not actually be "on". That power is controlled by one of the switches next to the passenger seat. Mine are not labeled.

Bingo!
Thanks Rick, There was a switch on the passenger wall that was not labeled and that was the switch for the cargo lights and the red light also comes on when the switch is turned on. Mystery solved!
Thanks again
