As soon after returning home with our recent purchase of a 99' 40FDS, we launched into a much planned rehabilitation. One of the first projects was to thoroughly clean the roof. Mainly to deal with the black mold and algae. Fully expecting to apply copious of manual scrubbing, I to my surprise I did little to no scrubbing at all. Credit for this much easier than expected project goes to an off-the-shelf product from Zep. Zep Mold Stain & Mildew Stain Remover worked as directed. Apply liberal amounts with hand sprayer, give it time to do its job and wash with a standard hose and nozzle. At about $7.00 per gallon, one was more than enough for this 40 foot coach whose roof had not been thoroughly cleaned in many many years. Purchased at Home Depot. Now for the lap sealant.

Many products , will do a great job of cleaning rubber roofs, unfortunately some are very hard on the rubber , as they dry the material by stripping out chemicals from the material.
Did you apply a rubber roof conditioner after the cleaning?

Yes, coach sat for many years with little to no attention. Just purchased the coach, had very low miles, but as you know everything else ages from dis-use including the roof. Thankfully some projects, like cleaning the roof, turn out to be easier than expected ... defying Murphy's Law
