roof delamination

As I was up on my roof today I noticed down both side at the edge the roof has delaminated slightly. There are not cracks in the fiberglass you can see a slight bubble right down both sides. Has this been a problem in the past?

....yup, delamination on the roof radius is pretty common....perhaps it was something to do with the way WRV sealed the roof flaps to the side wall....Don't recall anyone saying it spread to rest of roof.....so not really an issue as long as fiberglass doesn't crack--IMHO

roof delamination

I have about a 3 foot area in front of the front air conditioner where the fiberglass is loose, not glued down. It is bubbled up a little, and goes down when I walk on it. Similar to your situation?

Is this bad? Does that mean there is moisture under there and problems are coming? Do I need to open it up and fix it?

...modest roof edge delam. is fairly common for Alpines....areas elsewhere on the roof, not so much.....I would check the front A/C gasket and the old King Dome mounting plate [if you have/had one] for possible leaks.....as long as the fiberglass is in tact [not cracked], don't think I would mess with it......assume no signs of leaks on inside ceiling?

Thanks. No sign of leaks, but I need to where you said.

PS--the roof seams and the screw holes on both the front and rear cap are also a target area for leaks but they may or may not be related to the delam. area you are looking at....
