Seat question 1999 36fds

Any one know how to recline or adjust the arm rest on the front flexsteel captions chairs. I have driven a lot or RV but not figuring these out.
I know it sounds stupid. I can't imagine there not moveable.
Thanks

I am guessing it is down and won't go up as opposed to up and won't go down?

Have you tried pushing the arm inward towards the seat (sideways) and then try to lift it up?

Just be careful, that is what you do to detach the arm, don't take it past halfway, otherwise you will have the arm in your hand!

Seats and armrest are comfortable where they are now, but I would like to move them on a long drive just to feel a little different .

If you are asking can they be adjusted in multiple positions while in the down position I believe the answer is no
On my 99 I have electric adjustment or the captain's chair however armrests are either up or down

You can order an replacement arm rest that is adjustable from a Flexsteel dealer. There should be a build tag in the bottom of your seat with the fabric #s on it. I found that The "Recovery Room" in CA to be helpful.
