sewer hose holder

I saw somewhere that someone installed a tube on the propane tank to hold the spare longer sewer hose and was wondering how it was mounted on the tank, also any ideas on connecting the hose to the sewer outlet? I am using a 90 degree elbow but is not a good fit.

I mounted a 6 inch tube the width of the coach in front of the propane tank. I fastened it to the forward wall of the propane compartment and the chassis frame. Although I use it for fishing rods it could easily be used for a spare sewer hose.

I use a 45 degree elbow at my sewer fitting but it is not a good fit either. The hole for the sewer connection in the bottom of the utility bay needs to be larger to get better access.

I installed a clear 90 degree elbow adapter at the coach. You can align the coach outlet fitting by moving the black (color) outlet up or down to get the 90 degree elbow at the best position. I have a straight connector on the coach side of the sewer hose.

I used large hose clamps to mount the 6" pvc tube. I use a clear 45 degree elbow on my discharge fitting and it works quite well.

The tube used for the sewer hose holder on my coach was too small for the twist fittings on my hose and I could not find tube large enough. Also I was concerned that with a solid tube, the hose might slip in and be hard to retrieve. I found pvc rain gutter that was roughly semi circular and would hold the hose as in a tray. I cut off the old tube and fastened the gutter to the door. This holder terminates at the holding tank and is just long enough for a 10' compressable hose which I use for an extension or to connect my FloJet macerator pump. My main hose is 20' compressable and I don't think the coach is wide enough to store in the same way. Maybe I can use a pair of side by side gutters and store the hose in a U-shape.

It seems to me that the clear fitting I use on my sewer outlet is more like a 60-degree angle, and it attaches to the Rhino collapsable hose very easily. The less severe angle makes a big difference.
