Many of us have gone with the newly available Koni 99 series FSD's for the fronts. "Regular" Koni FSD's on the rear.

I would sure put them on your list.

Agree- Koni's have worked well for me over the years and their lifetime warranty is a "gamechanger" for me over the OEM Bilstiens…..Not familiar with "Road masters" and I am sure the Road Kings are the "Cats Meow" but can't see spending that kind of money for shocks IMHO.....

I bought the Road King shocks years ago after going through two sets of the regular Koni FSD shocks, on advice from fellow Alpine owners. Expensive, but I have never regretted spending the money on them. Still as good as the day I bought them. But in fairness, that was before Koni came out with the 99 Series.

My FSD's failed on both the front and the back. Of course, the front is where you will notice it first. Koni did replace them under warranty and I assume would have done so again, but still they failed and I had to spend time having them replaced.

I don't remember the warranty on the Road King. Never had a reason to know!
